LumaBoard Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how LumaBoard (the “App”) handles information. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app or cross-site tracking, personalized advertising, or marketing profiles.
1. Scope and Provider
This Policy applies to the LumaBoard iOS/iPadOS App and related support services. The App is provided by the LumaBoard Developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Privacy questions may be sent to lsckb_kf@163.com.
2. Information We Process
- Your creations and settings: board text, drawings, colors, fonts, speed, templates, history, language, and preferences. These remain on your device by default.
- Photos access: when you choose to export, the App requests permission to save images, GIFs, or MP4 videos to Photos. We do not upload your photo library contents to our servers.
- Optional iCloud data: if you enable iCloud sync, the App uses Apple iCloud to store and sync settings, creations, or backup snapshots. This data resides in your iCloud container and is processed by Apple.
- Purchase and validation data: when you purchase or restore LumaBoard Pro, Apple and we process the product identifier, App Store transaction identifier, and purchase status. To validate orders, prevent missing orders, and restore entitlements, the App sends our server a randomly generated app device identifier, product identifier, and transaction identifier. The device identifier is stored in the device Keychain and may persist after reinstalling. It is not an advertising identifier and is not used for tracking.
- Information you provide: if you contact us by email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or device information you choose to provide.
- Basic network information: when the validation service is contacted, servers ordinarily receive an IP address, request time, and basic network logs for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process information only to provide board creation and export, sync backups you choose, complete purchases and restore entitlements, secure the service and prevent fraud, answer support requests, and comply with law. Where required, our legal bases include performing our contract with you, your consent, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in service security. You may withdraw Photos permission in system settings and disable iCloud sync in the App. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
4. Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell or rent information. Information is shared or processed only as necessary by:
- Apple: for App Store distribution, payments, refunds, purchase restoration, Photos permissions, and optional iCloud services, subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
- Infrastructure providers: providers may host our order-validation service and process necessary order and network logs on our behalf. They may act only on our instructions and must provide protection equal to or greater than this Policy.
- Legal and safety recipients: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, or the rights and safety of others.
- Business successors: information may transfer in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this Policy or equivalent safeguards.
5. Retention and Deletion
- On-device content remains until you delete it, clear App data, or uninstall. Keychain device identifiers and purchase status may remain after uninstalling.
- iCloud data remains until you remove it through the App or iCloud.
- Order-validation records are generally retained as needed to fulfill purchases, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy tax, accounting, or legal duties.
- Support emails are retained until the request and a reasonable follow-up or compliance period are complete.
You may email us to request access, correction, or deletion of related data held on our server. We may need your device identifier or transaction information and reasonable verification to locate a record. Deleting server records does not automatically delete data on your device or iCloud; manage those separately in the App or Apple settings.
6. Security and International Processing
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information, including HTTPS for order-validation requests and the iOS Keychain for important local state. No system is completely secure. Information may be processed outside your country due to Apple’s or providers’ infrastructure; we apply safeguards required by applicable law.
7. Children
The App is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information for marketing or profiling. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate. Higher minimum ages may apply by region.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a regulator. You can manage Photos access in iOS Settings and disable iCloud sync in LumaBoard settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy when features, law, or operations change. We will notify you of material changes through the App, the updated page, or other legally required means and revise the date above.
